Right click and save as to view original files.

Take the original image an duplicate it.   Image>Duplicate

On the duplicated Copy Hit (Ctrl or Command on a Mac + L) to pull up levels.

Grab the white triangle under Input Levels and drag it to the left until it hits 200 instead of 255.

No go under Filter>Gaussian Blur>Take the radius and set it to 7.0 and hit enter.

Your image should now look the the image below.

Save the copy image as a .psd and close it.

Go back to your original file and take the Pattern “click for original”

Now make sure your pattern layer is selected and go under

Filter>Distort>Displace

Make sure your settings are set to

Horizontal Scale: 10

Vertical Scale: 10

Displacement Map: Stretch to fit

Undefined Areas: Repeat Edge Pixels

Now Click on the Pattern again and set its blend mode to Overlay and its Opacity to 25%

Make sure your pattern is still highlighted and click on the mask icon at the bottom of the layers palette.

The Mask will come up white but if you click on the mask and hit

Ctrl or Command “Mac” + I

It will invert the mask.

Now make sure your foreground color is set to White and hit B on the keyboard to pull up your brush and paint on the body where you want the pattern to be applied.
